Christian Obodo, has been rescued by police in Delta state, Nigeria. Christian Obodo(28year old) was  kidnapped by four unidentified gunmen while driving alone in
his customized SUV, ‘Obodo 5′ when the gunmen in another vehicle double crossed him, dragged him out of his car and sped off with him. Kidnappers of the Super Eagles midfielder demanded about $170,000 in ransom money shortly after kidnapping. Some of the kidnappers were arrested in an operation that tracked the kidnappers to a forest about some miles away from Warri where Mr. Obodo was kidnapped yesterday June 9th (READ THE HEADLINE HERE). It has been promised that Christian Obodo will be fully protected by the Warri State government before he leaves Nigeria for his club base in Europe.
