appearing on Kanye West Mercy video. Though, D'banj recently split with the legendary producer, Don Jazzy with claims that Don Jazzy betrayed him. The split was right after G.O.O.D Music signed both D'banj and Don Jazzy. But ever since Kanye West signed African artists, D’banj and Don Jazzy, to his G.O.O.D Music label, the former friends and business partners have been at odds with one another.

It is believed that the saga still continues but sometimes, you will wonder what D'banj is up to these days. Recently, D'banj most or have appeared in Kanye West new video Mercy. D'banj is currently best known internationally for his 2012 summer hit "Oliver Twist", an uptempo dance fusion of Afro-Beats, R&B and electronic dance music that topped the African charts 2011 and was a top 10 hit in the UK singles chart in 2012 reaching #2 on the UK R&B chart and now on #16 after Nicki Minaj Starship on #15.
