What a life we now live in the 21st century! Ordinary folks are having issues in their marriages and they run to their pastors for help, such as prayers and counselling. But what happens when pastor is the one now having problems with his marriage, not one, but two different marriages?
Does Pastor Kris need a deliverance too?
The pop star turned clergy had divorced his first wife, Tina some years ago and soon after cleaved to Stephanie who was equally previously married with children. The worship service which started early in the day at the church auditorium located off Kudirat Abiola way, Oregun, in Ikeja area of Lagos.
The Sunday service which also had the June brethren’s birthday celebration was a beehive of activities and joyful mood until Okotie,dressed in a white French suit suddenly polluted and fouled the atmosphere when announced towards the end of the service that “Stephanie and I are no longer married. We have separated. You can see she’s not in church today. It’s due to irreconcilable differences and you should please respect our wishes at this time because there is no going back.”
He however did not go into the details of what led to the crash of the glamourous marriage that came to being in 2008.
